Natalie has more than 30 years’ experience in designing, leading, and conducting quantitative and qualitative research in linguistics and sociolinguistics. She is an expert in human subjects research methods, including interview, focus group, and survey methods. She has 23 years’ experience teaching graduate courses in research methods at Georgetown University, and she has presented and delivered training sessions on sociolinguistic research methods in the U.S., Europe, and beyond.
